Team Building in Yorkshire
For team building activities and company away days in Yorkshire, Yorkshire Trails offer self-run and hosted activities based around a variety of locations across the county.
Choose from our Spy Mission, CSI Murder Mystery or Treasure Hunt Challenges or let us design a treasure hunt style activity on a theme of your choice.
Teams will be outdoors exploring a location on foot, putting their planning, time management, problem solving, strategic thinking and team work skills to the test whilst getting out of the office and bonding with their colleagues.
We like to think of our activities as a treasure hunt with a difference - a combination of sneaky clues and fun tasks to both challenge and entertain!
Duration / Location:
Our team building challenges are flexible and can run from 2 - 4 hours to fit in with your plans. They can start and finish at your offices or a suitable venue in your chosen location.
Our activities are designed for exploring urban locations as we set our clues on permanent features such as plaques, buildings, signs and sculptures. We can create an activity in most towns in Yorkshire as well as more scenic locations such as Bolton Abbey and Roundhay Park. For larger groups, we recommend a larger town or city such as York, Ripon, Harrogate, Scarborough, Whitby, Skipton or Leeds.
Who's it for?
Our team building activities really are for everyone. The activities involve light walking only so people of all ages and levels of fitness can join in.
This, along with the variety of clues and challenges teams will be tasked with, mean that our team building trails are ideal for mixing new recruits with old hands - everyone will have somthing to contribute to the final goal.

Prices - 2023
Self-run team building packages start from £400
Suitable for up to 25 participants.
For larger groups, we create two or more separate sets of clues in the same location to ensure teams are searching for different things in different areas.
Prices start from £400 per additional clue set and are suitable for 26-200+ participants depending on your location.
Hosted events start from £700 for up to 25 people. Get in touch for a full quote or to discuss your activity, aims and suitable locations.
BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE
Should any unforeseen circumstances mean that your event cannot go ahead, we are more than happy to postpone your booking to a future date if available.
What's included?
Our self-fun packs are printed and posted to you prior to your event.
You'll receive one team pack per team, including briefing documents, all clues, tasks and challenges, a map and pens.
You'll also receive an organiser's pack with full details on how to run your activity, how to organise and start off your teams, and a sealed envelope containing answers and scoring instructions to be opened once teams are all back at your finish location.
Challenges can be done at any time and start and finish from your chosen venue or location.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not arrange venues or catering if these are required before or after your activity. However, we are more than happy to assist in choosing suitable options based on your activity location.
Tailored Activities
All of our team building activities are flexible and we design them to fit in with your timings, plans and objectives for the day.
So if you want your teams to collaborate on some tasks, get creative, give a presentation, design a new company motto or visit a specific location or landmark, we're more than happy to include this in your challenge.
We can make the activity as easy or challenging as you like.
Hosted Activities
One or two members of our team will come along and host your activity from start to finish. Or, for more of a buzz, we've teamed up with Enchantica's Events to arrange an actor or actors to come along too. Our experienced actors will arrive, in character as secret agents, detective inspectors or other persons to fit your theme. They will set the scene, brief the teams and set everyone off on your mission, investigation or quest.
Teams will also be interacting with the host or hosts via their phone and in person at various points during the activity, before returning to your chosen venue to be debriefed. During your final debrief session, the mission, investigation or quest will be concluded, answers checked and the winning team announced.

We also offer lower budget options via group packs of Treasure Trails. Great for 'just for fun' away days without the extra challenge, strategy and skills focus of our team building packages.
