On further investigation, it appears the Marilyn Becket has been running pottery workshops for years and passing herself off as an expert, but is actually a bit of an amateur at the potter's wheel! She can start off well, but her finished products are decidedly wonky and just aren't up to scratch. This is why she's been passing off her student's much better creations as her own and making a lot of money in the process.

Thanks to you, Artie Sands will be confronting Marilyn at the next meeting of the Crafty Craft Club before expelling her from the clue and handing her details over to the local police who will be charging her with fraud.

The Crafty Craft Club's reputation will remain intact and a new pottery expert is already being sought to replace the bogus Ms. Becket.
